During an appearance on an episode of Andy Cohen Live, Reba McEntire disclosed that even though she has known Dolly Parton since the 1970’s, she has yet to meet her husband, Carl Thomas Dean. The subject came up when Cohen asked McEntire if Dolly is as good a cook as she says she is. “I don’t know, I’ve never had her food. She’s never invited me over,” Reba admits. Cohen asks her, “Have you ever met Carl,” and McEntire responds, “No. Have you?” Cohen said no, joking that “people really do swear he exists,” with McEntire adding, “I saw something the other day. They were out camping, and she and Carl went back to where they got married.” Cohen praised Dolly’s efforts to keep Carl out of the limelight, saying  “Isn’t it incredible that she’s been able to keep this guy a secret for so long?” McEntire agreed, “Absolutely! Well, I feel better that you haven’t met him now.” (People)
