April 12th: The Henry County Solid Waste District is partnering with Friends of the Library for our Free Document Shredding Event for residents of Henry County. It will be held on April 12th from 9am-12 pm at the NC/HC Pubic Library parking lot located at 376 S 15th Street, New Castle, IN. We will shred up to 10 banker boxes per household. April 27th: Autism Rocks is a nonprofit that supports individuals with autism in Delaware County. This is a community event is to help raise awareness and provide safe family fun for those individuals with autism. There will be food trucks, bounce houses, laser tag, and a raffle. April 27th: The Henry County Historical Society will host its 138th annual meeting Sunday, April 27, 2025. The event begins at 2 p.m. We will be celebrating the Grand Army of the Republic with speaker Ron Darrah from the Indiana Genealogical Society. The 2025 exhibit, Exploring the GAR in Henry County, opens. Election of HCHS Board Trustees is on the agenda. This event is free and open to the public.
