November 23rd: Minnetrista Museum & Gardens invites the community to come together on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to give back to those in need. During this time, Minnetrista will be collecting essential donations to benefit four important local organizations: The Excel Center, Muncie Firefighters Toys for Tots, Open Door Health Services, and Whitely Community Food Pantry. These organizations are dedicated to supporting families and individuals in our region, especially during the holiday season. The following items are needed: • Diapers and wipes • Shelf-stable food and packaged snacks • New and gently used toys • Personal hygiene supplies. Donations can be dropped off at the Center Building on Minnetrista’s campus, where participants will receive a $5 off coupon for purchases of $25 or more at The Orchard Shop. This is a great way to support local families while also giving back to Minnetrista. “Minnetrista values our role as a place for the community to come together to inspire a better future for all,” said Jennifer Parks-Strack, Director of Development at Minnetrista. “We are happy to use our building to generate support for families in our community this holiday season.” By participating in Minnetrista Gives Back, you’ll not only make a tangible difference in the lives of local families but also foster connections with others in the community who share the same values of giving and support. Minnetrista’s commitment to community engagement is at the heart of our mission. This event is part of our ongoing efforts to create a thriving, inclusive environment where creativity, cultural diversity, and meaningful connections come together to inspire a brighter future for all.
