January 31st-February 1st, February 7th-8th, February 14th-15th: The Anderson Museum of Art (AMOA) is excited to announce the return of its Mystery at the Museum series with Mystery at the Museum 3! This year, AMOA transforms into AMOA High School, inviting the community to relive the quintessential 1980s high school experience. Participants will navigate puzzles centered around prom court drama, mean girls, hidden motives and ultimately answer the question: Who will be crowned prom king and queen? What to Expect: Up to 64 participants each evening will be split into eight groups to tackle puzzles, strategy games, and clues inspired by 1980s high school nostalgia. Guests can enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a cash bar as they immerse themselves in this interactive experience. Local celebrities will join us throughout the event nights, adding excitement and engagement to the festivities. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the event will begin promptly at 6:00 PM, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Location: AMOA High School (Anderson Museum of Art), Historic Carnegie Library Building, 32 W. 10th Street, Downtown Anderson. Dates: January 31, February 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15 Time: 6-8:30pm. Who Can Attend: Ages 13 and up are welcome to participate. Dress the Part. This year’s event features a fun 1980s prom theme! Dressing up is encouraged to enhance the experience, but it’s not required. Be sure to dress comfortably to fully enjoy the evening, as you never know what surprises the event may have in store. Special prizes will be awarded to those who bring the most spirit and creativity to their outfits. Oral health is a vital part of whole-person health. Untreated dental diseases can contribute to serious health problems, including heart disease and diabetes. Regular checkups and professional care are the keys to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. The free dental exam will include an exam with a dentist, polishing/cleaning, and fluoride application. Schedule an appointment in advance by calling the office nearest you. Walk-ins are welcome; however, space is limited and appointments are encouraged to avoid wait times.
