Hard-rockin’ country troupe Whiskey Myers ascended to No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with its new self-titled album, moving 42,000 equivalent units, according to Nielsen Music.
The tally was buoyed by Whiskey Myers’ recent Die Rockin’ Tour, which included a copy of the new album with a select ticket purchase.
Jon Pardi’s highly anticipated third album, Heartache Medication, reached No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart with 34,000 equivalent units sold, while Sturgill Simpson clocked in at No. 3 with his fourth studio album, Sound & Fury, which moved 32,000 equivalent units.
