About Chris
Chris has been involved with broadcasting since his senior year of high school at Muncie Southside. Through the years Chris has taken advantage of his career to live around the country but has come home to East Central Indiana. Chris is Program Director and host of the Sam Pierce Chevy Drive Home which features the Hot 5@5 Countdown. In addition to his broadcast work Chris also has been or is involved as a high school sports referee, coaching athletics, writing, internet broadcasting, volunteering, and the title he is most proud of is Father to his son, Chaston.
In addition to working with NASH FM 102.5 Chris has spent time working with stations in Ohio, Florida, New York, Vermont, Georgia and across Indiana.

If you were not in radio, then what would you be doing?
For me I want to do something to help others. I would either find a great community driven organization to accept me or I’d look to education. If those don’t pan out then I could be on the look out for a sweet, RICH, old woman that needs good companionship. Gotta have options.
What is a movie or tv show people would be surprised to know you like?
Love Actually.
What was your first car?
It was an old 3/4 Ton Truck my Dad gave me. I was ecstatic. I loved it, looked nice and all but it had a habit of just shutting down randomly while you drove. So…. didn’t have it too long.
Do you have a guilty web pleasure?
Absolutely! The Chive.
You can get on a plane and go anywhere right now, where are you going?
London!
You just hit the lottery. What is your first splurge item for yourself with the money?
Custom built motorcycle. Call Jesse James or the Teutuls.
Coffee or Tea?
Well for those that know me, it’s not too often you see me without my coffee cup. I’ve had to switch it to decaf (Doctor’s orders) but I love a good cup of coffee!!!
Sports or Reality TV?
Sports. Although, a few “Reality” programs have been creepin in to my viewing time… but nothing replaces watching my teams.
IU or Purdue?
IU… and anyone playing Purdue! Actually, it’s Notre Dame then IU for my collegiate loyalties, but Coach Lembo & the football Cardinals have caught my attention too!
The Voice or American Idol?
I honestly cannot name a single Idol winner from the last 5 years, except for Scotty McCreery. It has to be The Voice and #TeamBlake!!
Horror or Comedy?
Comedy.
Beer or Wine?
Beer! I don’t drink very often but I do enjoy the taste of a good beer. FYI Chris Carter Trivia Fact… I drive to two other states to buy the beers that I like.
